General Announcements:
Congratulations to the Science Fair winners – 1st Place Megan Niemitalo, 2nd Place Remi Martin, 3rd Place Michael Harris. Great job to all participants.
 
The 6th grade DI team took first at Districts and will be competing April 17th at State at the Auraria campus.  Congratulations to team members: Abby Blackwood, Hannah Sullivan, Tori Mudd, Kate Reutzel, Claire Kantor, Annie DeGrood, and Connor Mudd who is a fifth grade student at Wilder. We are proud of you and good luck at State.
 
Students – don’t forget - Skate City is hosting a Goddard Middle School skate night tonight from 6 to 8pm. All grades are welcome. Admission is only $4.00, plus $1.00 skate rental. And don’t forget your flyer – there’s a $3.00 coupon for dinner.   There will be a cookie party for the class with the most participation. Fun, friends, and a door prize drawing! And teachers skate for free! So come out and have some fun and skate with your friends!
 
Students - Please remember to turn in your registration cards for next year to your core teacher. These must be returned BEFORE Spring Break to ensure that you receive your class choices next year.
 
Any student that is interested in competing in the Oratory contest: there is still time to sign up.  See Ms. Adams-Berger for details and turn in the top registration portion of the form to Student Services this week.
 
Will the following students please report to the Main Office to enjoy ANOTHER ring pop from your fans. Thanks for great behavior this week. We know the approach of Spring Break makes all of us a little afflicted with spring fever, so your excellent behavior is appreciated.
 
Teachers.. be on the lookout! We’ll have another drawing on Thursday afternoon!

GMS indoor soccer club will be meeting today in the small gym after school.  It is always open to anyone interested, but you cannot play without a yellow card filled out. 
 
Talent Show members will have dress rehearsal today in the Gym from 2:50 to 5:30pm.
 
The Goddard Community Service Club will meet today after school in room 225. We will be discussing our spring project. All are welcome to join us!
 
            Thursday
Any 7th grade girls interested in playing Volleyball – please join us Thursday during Core Plus in the cafeteria for an informational meeting.
 
Encore members will rehearse during Core Plus on Thursday.
 
Talent Show members will have rehearsal in the Gym on Thursday from 3:00 to 6:00pm.
 
            Friday
The Newspaper Club will meet on Friday during Core Plus in Room 247.

Today’s lunch is Chicken rice bowl, Popcorn chicken, PB & J sandwich, or Entrée salad; choice of fruit and vegetable, and milk.

The library is closed due to CSAP make up testing.  Please return all books to the Main Office.
 
Robert Spofford is 1 of 224 students attending the National Math Counts Competition in Orlando, Florida in May.  Robert placed 4th at the State Competition and will now move on to compete at Nationals.  Way to go Robert and Good Luck!

8th graders attending LHS in the fall:  Tonight is the last evening registration session.  It will be at 5:30pm, in the Forum.  Please see Mrs. Wesswick if you were not able to attend any of the registration sessions.

General Announcements:
Hey Goddard Students- The annual Oratory contest sponsored by a local Optimist club is coming up soon.  All students are eligible to participate in this great contest which will be held in the Goddard library on April 6th.  In the past four years we’ve had several Goddard students advance to the two-state finals….some even winning $1500 scholarships.  See Ms. Adams-Berger for more information on this year’s topic and to pick up an application.
 
Pathways program is just beginning their application process for next school year.  Any Goddard student interested in getting more information about this non-traditional  Littleton school should see Ms. Wesswick or Ms. Adams-Berger.  Pathways has 7th, 8th and 9th grade. There are also flyers in Student Services about the upcoming Pathways open house being held on Monday, March 15th at 6 pm.  Check it out!
